EU harmonised notice: Legal guarantee — minimum two-year legal guarantee protection for goods sold in the European Union. Consumers can claim rights under the legal guarantee of conformity if goods do not match the description or do not function as intended. Sellers are liable for lack of conformity present at delivery that appears within the guarantee period and must offer free repair or free replacement, and in some cases a price reduction or full reimbursement. Some countries have longer periods; second-hand goods may have a shorter period, not less than one year. More information: scan the QR code or ask the seller — europa.eu/youreurope/guarantees. If you receive non-conforming goods: contact the seller as soon as possible; provide proof of purchase (receipt, invoice, or bank statement). Sellers and producers may also offer separate commercial guarantees; the GARAN label indicates a commercial guarantee of durability from the producer at no extra cost covering the entire good.
