Cups way too big, band slightly too small

"According to the size chart, a size large in this model should be a good fit for me (34" ribcage, 36.5" bust). If anything, I was expecting the band to be a little loose. But when I received the bra I discovered that, in fact, the cups were way too big and the band was slightly too small — totally perplexing and the exact opposite of what the size chart would have suggested. I measured my body and consulted the chart carefully, so I'm confident that it's not an issue on my end. Either the chart is just very, very inaccurate, or there's very little quality control with regard to sizing at the factory. It's a shame, because the fabric was soft and the shape of the bra was pretty."
