"I usually wear 7. 5 in sandals and 8 in closed-toe shoes. I have a wide foot. I ordered this in both 8 and 8. 5 (something told me to order up). I have never worn a size 8. 5, but that size worked best. The 8 fits like a 7. 5 as far as the length of the shoe, but it is not as comfortable on my wider foot. I would recommend ordering a half size up, but if you have a narrow foot, then probably not true. I ordered the gold color and it's absolutely gorgeous in person, way better than pictured."
